TITLE :Remote Administration of FTP and Services for Macintosh
PRODUCT :Windows NT Archive
PROD/VER:3.10
OPER/SYS:WINDOWS
KEYWORDS:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To remotely administrate an FTP or Services for Macintosh service, the
service must be installed locally. If you do not have the service installed
locally, the necessary menu options will not exist on the local computer,
even when you select the server in Server Manager.
NOTE: Services for Macintosh is not included with Windows NT version 3.1
and can only be administrated, locally or remotely, from a Windows NT
Advanced Server computer. Services for Macintosh included with the Windows
NT Resource Kit is not a full implementation, essentially just the
AppleTalk protocol.
